When founders Terri and Edward Petitt first had the vision for beAriver in 2012, they were themselves being refined by fire to become the purest form of their true identities in Christ.

Through the many twists and turns of life, Terri remained hopeful for the vision of being a resource provider to the nations. Knowing her God is faithful, Terri remained obedient to the call on her life.

God, as only God can do, orchestrated a beautiful connection, a relationship between Terri and Pastor Geoffrey of Lwengo, Uganda, Africa. Knowing their true identities in Christ and trusting Him, the two walked together in love to reach the disenfranchised in Pastor Geoffrey’s homeland.

Pastor Geoffrey, not deterred by never having met Terri or her late husband Edward, chose to name the school in honor of Edward Petitt and dedicated it to the Lord God.

In this new season of life, Terri continues to trust God as she works by faith to be a blessing to others through her intercessory prayer ministry where she boldly declares Jesus is Lord and we are ONE.
